Physicochemical properties:
2402 phenolic resin has good oil solubility, heat resistance and aging resistance. Soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, cyclohexane, ethyl acetate, solvent gasoline and vegetable oil, insoluble in ethanol and water.
Uses: used as a tackifying resin for chloroprene adhesives, a vulcanizing agent for butyl rubber. 2402-3 is suitable for spot welding glue. Can also be used in glue, anti-corrosion coatings, lubricants/agents, paints, etc.
